FLNG · Floating LNG
Liquefy at sea.
Monetize stranded gas.
0.65–6.0 MTPA modular FLNG platforms. Process, liquefaction, storage, and offloading on a single hull — built in our Qidong yard and ready to sail to the gas field.
Process
Gas in. LNG out. Four stages on one vessel.
FLNG replaces hundreds of hectares of land-based LNG plant with a single floating asset. Faster to permit, faster to deliver, and redeployable.
- 01
Gas reception
Feed gas arrives via subsea pipeline or shuttle. Slugcatcher and inlet treatment remove condensate, water, and contaminants.
- 02
Pre-treatment
Acid gas removal, dehydration, and mercury removal protect downstream cryogenic equipment.
- 03
Liquefaction
Mixed-refrigerant cycle cools treated gas to -162°C. Modular train design supports 0.65–6.0 MTPA capacity.
- 04
Storage & offloading
Containment storage and side-by-side offloading to LNG carriers. Ship-to-ship transfer ready in any port.
Capacity range
From 0.65 MTPA to 6.0 MTPA, on the same platform logic.
A standardized hull, modular topside trains, and pre-engineered liquefaction units. Scale up by adding trains, not by re-engineering.
